Apologies, our faithful readers, for the extended absence from spreadburys.com. This new year has had a busy beginning for us. Between Jon's long and many hours at work and Lindsay's continued health problems, the time has slipped through our fingers! And here we are in March already!!! The most exciting event that has happened this year was our trip to England at the end of February with Jon's immediate family. We had a wonderful time and are blessed by God's provision for the trip! Lindsay was able to meet most of Jon's extended family for the first time and Jon was able to meet some new family members as well. In addition to spending time with family in the Manchester area and Cambridge, we also got to see some brief sights of London! Pictures are slowly making their way up into our photo gallery in between loads of laundry, paying bills and lesson planning. We are now back into the daily routine of life, Jon just starting back to work after his two weeks off. Lindsay started back teaching the day we arrived back in Orlando (having arrived home at 2 in the morning only to be at work at 8). Lindsay is thoroughly enjoying her job teaching four year olds at the preschool. Jon enjoys his job most days although at times he misses his slower days for more pay in Key West. :) He has started back on website development for two different enterprises. So when he's not working his full-time job, he is stationed in front of the computer. Our cats continue to be a fun source of enjoyment. They were cared for by one of Lindsay's friends/co-workers while we were gone. And they were extremely happy to have us home again. Our bed has once again become smaller as they join us on cold nights. In extended family news - Lindsay is going to be an aunt once again as Niki and Nick are expecting their 2nd child in August. Oliver, their first, turns 1 this month!! Her parents and Melody are going to visit them for his birthday. That's about it for now.
